My name is Bob Appleby, I am a self taught, part-time knife maker. I started out forging ornamental iron work. I forged my first knife in 1995 from a railraod spike and have been making knives ever since. I make fixed blade knives by stock removal in a wide variety of classic, period and modern patterns and use a wide variety of handle materials both natural and synthetic. I also make my oun leather and Kydex sheaths.
